This is official notice of the Downtown Whitby Business Improvement Area’s Annual General Meeting, to be held February 12th, 2018 at 7:00pm at the Whitby Public Library.

This meeting will allow members to discuss the proposed 2018 BIA Budget (see reverse of this page). Members may provide feedback in person at the meeting or in writing by emailing it to budget@whitbybia.org

Nominations to the Board

Further, as the BIA Board of Management currently has 1 vacancy, members will have the opportunity to nominate a candidate to be appointed by Town Council to the Board of Management.

The nomination period has closed and the following candidates have declared:

  • Tina, BAILEY - Community Plus Durham
  • Alison, GALVAN - The Food and Art Cafe
  • Ann Marie, HENRY-LYONS - State Farm Insurance Inc.

If you are eligible to vote, please attend the AGM on February 12th, 2018 at 7pm, Whitby Public Library, Room 1B.
